If you are new to vaping, it can be hard to figure out what nicotine strength will work best for you. There are a lot of different factors that go into how your body will absorb nicotine, which will ultimately have an affect on whether or not vaping truly satisfies your cravings.
Some different factors to consider are:
- How much do you smoke right now? Are you a heavy smoker, a social smoker, or do you not smoke at all? If you're used to a lot of nicotine on a regular basis, you'll probably want to start off with something a bit stronger.
- What type of e-cig do you have? You'll absorb a lot more nicotine from a higher powered device than compared to a beginner "pen-style" e-cig. If you're vaping at high wattage, you'll probably want to tone down your nic strength.
- What resistance is your coil? You'll tend to absorb more nicotine from lower-resistance coils, due to the fact that they can be fired at a higher power. If you're sub-ohming, you won't need to use a super strong nic strength.
- How are you breathing? The more vape you take in, the more nicotine you take in as well. If you're taking lots of big lung hits and blowing clouds, you won't need as much nicotine.
