If you just placed an order within the last few hours, there is a chance you might see your order in a "Manual Verification Required" status before it begins to the fulfillment process.
"Manual Verification Required" means that your order has been flagged as a potentially fraudulent purchase, and our internal Fraud and Loss Prevention Department needs to investigate further before letting your order through. Typically, orders are flagged as potentially fraudulent due to mismatched information between the address your credit institution has on file and the billing address you've entered in our system, but there are many other reasons that can cause your order to be flagged for manual review.
There are certain orders that contain enough risk factors that our Fraud and Loss Prevention team will require more information from the purchaser before allowing the order to proceed. In these specific cases, our Fraud and Loss Prevention team will send an email to the email address provided on the order, requesting further documentation.
Our Fraud and Loss Prevention team will complete their review within a couple hours of your order being placed. For most orders, this review can be completed without needing any additional information from the purchaser. Once the review is complete, the order will be released and processed for fulfillment within 24 hours.
